Spam Islands

Yesterday I spoke a little bit about spam islands. To refresh your memory, a spam island is a network of sites that are linking to each other - either directly or indirectly - in an attempt to influence their rankings in the search engines.

Today I found some fascinating graphs at Technology Review that illustrate spam islands through social networks.

I think you’ll find it rather fascinating like I did!
