Multi-Variate and Split Testing Results
When you’re testing your landing pages for affiliate campaigns, you’ll want to make sure that you continually test to see what improves your conversion rate.
There are basically two ways to do this. The first is through standard A/B testing which works ok but you’ll need to constantly update your pages and you really can only test one result at a time. It’s a very time consuming process.
Here are some good results on various split testing results in 2007 that might help your landing pages convert better.
My personal favorite program so far for multivariate testing, however, is called MuVar.
MuVar will let you control nearly every facet of your page and the user will only see the original page that they came to. This allows you to do price tests, color tests, and so on.
