LinkVana - One Way Relevant Backlinks

LinkVana Home Page

I’ve run across an interesting service that I might give a shot when I get my new affiliate sites up later next month.

In the meantime, I got a demo account so that I could review the service.

The service is called LinkVana and is a way to get one way relevant backlinks to your websites. Now, I wouldn’t recommend this for black hat sites where you’re pumping out crap to just get as much indexed as you possibly can.

But if you want a consistent flow of links to your white hat site then this might be the option for you.

I’ll go on record saying that I think it’s a bit pricey at $137 a month and could be a bit cheaper. However, having said that, there is a limit of 300 subscribers so they should not get overloaded like wpburner did quite often.

They’re also using multiple class c blocks and have a ton of blogs that you can get your links posted on. Certainly can’t hurt your Technorati ratings.

One other nifty feature that they have is the ability to have posts written for you. At only $2 per post it’s an inexpensive way to get some content for your blog if you’re up for that type of thing.

Anyhoo, on to the review…

The first thing that you’ll want to do when you sign in is to create a new project.

As you can see in the picture above, you can add multiple projects. In fact, I would recommend doing so to cut down on the costs of using the service. I’ll go into this in more depth shortly.

After you’ve added your project, you can edit the project and get a summary of the project statistics.

If you click on the links button, you’ll begin to see the power of the system. Not only can you assign specific pages on your site but you can also vary the anchor text for that link.

LinkVana Add Links

Earlier I mentioned that you’ll want multiple projects. The reason for this is that the system will only post your links up to 6 times per day per project. That means you’d want a minimum of about 5 sites posting 6 times per day for it to cost you about $1 per link per month. Of course, the links don’t go away if you discontinue the service so the cost would go down over time.

Finally, the last bit is being able to get posts written for you. You have to purchase credits which currently cost $2 each. The demo account I’m using has no credits but you should get the general idea from the pictures below.

You can purchase credits through PayPal as seen below.

I inititially considered doing a Camtasia recording of LinkVana but decided against it as it already has some nice tutorials that you can watch once you’re a member.

If you sign up, let me know what you think of the service.
