I Was Hacked!

No, not here…but on the syndk8.

To make matters worse, not only was my username/password compromised, but the hacker actually admitted that he used my account to break in and create an account for himself.

And it does get worse because I’m actually one of those loser users who uses a similar password in lots of places - doh!

So I had to run around changing my password in more than 80 locations.
There is a bright side to this story though…

I use Roboform so it was very easy for me to go around and change all of my passwords and make sure I didn’t miss any!

If you’re not using Roboform to manage all of the login info for your sites then you’re really missing out. This program rocks! It lets you save all sorts of personal information (and protect it with a password of course) so that you can auto-fill forms out really nicely.

I thought that it would only be useful for SEO tasks like submitting links but it’s useful for WAY more than that.
