How to Spoof Your Earnings - Photoshop *not* Required!

Cheers to HaRRo at Pay-Per-Install.org for this tip!
1. Go to a website you want to spoof - say, your shitty Google earnings page…
2. Take the following code:
javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0
3. Enter it in the url bar.
4. Modify content to your hearts content.
5. Take snapshots (don’t be a retard and leave the javascript in your url bar in the snapshot).
6. Show the world how l33t your are because you make so much money!
7. Go on the Guru circuit. Earn fame and prestige.
8. Sell the fame and prestige for your own little spot on the corner next to the guy with a bottle of wine in a bag.

OMG - who knew you could directly edit a webpage?! Seriously. I didn't.

Yeah, I had no idea either until I read that. I always figured you had to do other things like view source and then modify and what not.G-Man

That's awesome. Awesomer than the code you could paste into your browser's address bar to make all the images go float across your screen.

Umm, why not just use Firebug in Firefox? You can edit anything on the page including the CSS.

Some people don't have firefox and/or the plugin
Besides…if you think about this a bit, you could come up with more devious things to do
Firebug is pretty cool tho
And I like Greasemonkey too. There are a couple of addons that work with greasemonkey to help you just select text on the page you don't want. That's pretty fun to do
