Buying Domains In Bulk Quantities
I received this PM from someone on the cr8asite forums today:
I’m looking to buy a large quantity of domains next week, and just looking for recommendations for reliable/low-cost places to do this. Any help is appreciated.
Heh. My answer is - it depends.
First, what value do you place on the domains?
Are they churn and burn type domains where you get some traffic and then throw that traffic away later?
Or are they important and you plan to keep them around for a while?
In the first case, I would go with .info domains - they’re the cheapest that I know of.
In the second case I’d go for a .org - it ranks better and has lasting value.
As far as whom to get your domains from, a lot of people use GoDaddy but I would wholeheartedly say do NOT do this! Especially if you plan on spamming and jamming :P
They’ll ban you with no warning at all…bad bad bad registrar!
My current personal favorite (been using em for years now) is www.directi.com. You can sign up as a reseller and get the .info domains really cheap.
I know some people have used RegisterFly in the past because of their prices and they were burned badly. Dunno about the ‘new’ RegisterFly that is under different management but I still would never use them.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have more questions

In my opinion if you want to keep the domain for years maybe it would be better if you buy .com domain. The price of .com domain usually more expensive than the other but I could buy .com domain cheaper than the other place at www.asianbraindomains.com . The other advantage is .com domain will be indexed faster by the search engine rather than other domain and if one day if you want to sell it than the price is better than the other domain.
