Are 100 Readers to Your Blog Worth $100?

I recently ran a clicksor campaign on my blog.  It was an accident.  I meant to direct it to a different url.  Anyhow, after getting 100,000 hits to my blog over a week or so.  I ended up with 100 more readers.

Welcome everyone!  Welcome!

Hey G,Can you go a bit into detail on what you did with Clicksor? My understanding is they are a ppc blog placement service. So, you ran a campaign driving users to your site? Did you find the CPA attractive? From your title, one can assume you spent $100 on the campain and got 100 new readers. Is this correct? Thanks - love the column.

Well yeah. I would say so. Because these 100 guys could spread up the thing about lookwhatgmanfound.comIt all depends on how targetted they were and since you have more readers now, I would say they were targetted enough.

Clicksor is yet another PPC program.  You can use them with just about any site (as long as you're approved of course).  In my case, I had signed up for a different site that needed some advertising and I forgot about it.

When Clicksor contacted me and asked if I was ready for my account to be activated I said sure and had them send the traffic to my blog.

It was back in August so I'm not sure what ad I ran but I think it was a run of the network type ad which showed up anytime I won the auction on a 1 cent bid.

Since I posted this article, the users have dropped a little bit but I still gained quite a bit of traffic and more people have noticed me so I would not say that the money was a waste at all.

Hello,        I run a compaign with allinfobarn network, got very good response within few hours. Always use different trustfull big network eg. yahoo, allinfobarn network, clicksor, chitika for checking which network is best for you becuase this is the way you can know what is perfect for you.
